Lodging in the Pension Astoria

The sixteen cozy rooms of our guest house are made for your comfort and well-being. So you can lean back and enjoy your holiday stay at Prad am Stilfserjoch to the full. Each room is equipped with TV, own en-suite bathroom and for the most part also with a balcony. Most rooms offer a beautiful mountain outlook and view to the older part of the village.

In addition to single rooms and double rooms, also larger three- or four-bed rooms can be booked. As a typical bedandbreafast we offer overnight accommodation for short and longer periods with breakfast buffet. Free outdoor parking spaces are available for your vehicle and paid parking spaces with two electric charging stations in our underground car park nearby.

The Pension Astoria is located in a central yet quiet location in the old village of Prad am Stilfserjoch, ideal for your active and relaxing holiday in the Vinschgau Valley.

  • The guaranteed best price and an optimum price/performance ratio for direct bookings.
  • Comfortable rooms: From single to four-bed rooms with WC/shower and hairdryer, some with balcony. All rooms are equipped with 32" HD flat screen TV.
  • Parking spaces: A limited number of free outdoor parking spaces are available for your car and motorbike. You can also park your car in the underground car park of the "Astoria Residence" for a fee of 5,- per day in the high season or 2,5 per day in the low season. A charging station (type 2 incl. fixed cable) for electric vehicles (BEV) and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV) is available.
  • Locked bike and ski room: Your bikes and ski equipment are perfectly stored in their own compartment. Bicycle tools are also provided if required. A ski boot dryer is available for ski boots.
  • Central and quiet location in the historic centre of Prad. Restaurants, shops, hiking trails and the bus stop are just a few minutes' walk away. Nevertheless, the location in the Schmiedgasse offers the necessary peace and quiet for a relaxing holiday.
  • There are plenty of shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity
  • Breakfast buffet - rich breakfast for 7,- per person from 07.30 to 10.00 with South Tyrolean quality products
  • Our house bar invites you from 14:00 to 22:00 for a delicious cappuccino or a nightcap after dinner.
  • Early-bird discount: If you book at least 5 months before arrival, you will receive a 5% discount on the accommodation price.
  • Loyalty bonus: If you stay with us repeatedly within 3 years, you will receive a loyalty bonus of 10% on the accommodation and underground car park price. For online bookings via this website, the discount - if applicable - will be deducted retrospectively. The discount cannot be taken into account for external online booking portals and/or for payments with business credit cards. The loyalty bonus only applies during the season, as a general discount of 10% on the season price applies out of season.
  • Environmental bonus: Guests travelling by bike, public transport or electric vehicle receive a 3% discount on the daily rate.

  • Our reception will provide you with information about activities and places of interest. Free holiday guides to take with you as well as mountain bike and hiking maps at a special price are available for sale.
  • Laundry service: For stays of more than one week, we change the towels and bed linen after 7 nights. If an additional change of linen is required in between, we will be happy to do this for an extra charge of 10,- Euros. There is also a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer (6,- Euro per wash incl. detergent)
