Prad is a centrally located and therefore ideal starting point for your winter holiday.
Here in the middle of the eastern alps, you can choose between several ski areas, all at an altitude between 1500 and 3200 meters and within a short time to reach. The closest ones are Sulden, Trafoi, Watles and Schöneben. So you can enjoy maximum variety.
A free ski bus stops just in front of our place and takes you to Sulden or Trafoi. You can use this service and leave your car behind.
Cross-country fans and biathletes will get their fair share as well. There are perfectly groomed cross-country slopes in Schlinig, Sulden or in the Martell Valley, to name only a few.
The 6 km long Reschensee has become a hotspot for speed skaters, ice sailers and ice kiters. There are also numerous tour destinations around the Ortler for snowshoe hiking and ski touring.
What could be more exciting than warming and relaxing your bones in the sauna after an exhausting day of winter sports?
In Mals (8km) there is the sports centre Sportwell Mals, where you can find a 25m swimmingpool, a great sauna landscape with heat bath, infrared sauna, steam bath, two Finnish saunas, kelo sauna and beautiful relaxation area with water beds. There are also three indoor tennis courts, fitness rooms and a skittle alley (reservation for courts and alley is recommended - we will be happy to take care of it). At our reception you can get free tickets for the swimming pool and enjoy a 50% discount for sauna, fitness, tennis and bowling.
Another swimming- and wellnessarea, especially interesting for children, is the Aquaforum in Latsch (24km), with outdoor pool and a 50m water slide. Here you will also find a beautiful newly built sauna landscape with steam bath, bio sauna, panorama sauna and a large, modern relaxation room.
