  Pension Astoria is located in Prad am Stilfserjoch, Vinschgau, South Tyrol, and is the ideal starting point for excursions to Stelvio National Park and Lake Resia.

• How close is the pension to Stelvio?

  Our pension is right at the foot of the famous Stelvio Pass road, perfect for road cyclists, mountain bikers, motorcyclists, and unforgettable Alpine excursions.

• What attractions are nearby?

  Nearby highlights include: Lake Resia with the bell tower, Ortler – the highest mountain in South Tyrol, Stelvio National Park, Glorenza – the smallest town in South Tyrol, Merano, Stelvio village, Churburg Castle in Schluderns, Marienberg Benedictine Monastery, St. Johann Monastery in Müstair, Laas marble village, Messner Mountain Museum, national park centers (Aquaprad, Natura Trafoi, Avimundus, Culturamartell), Schnals Archeopark, Romanesque churches and chapels, bunkers and remnants of the Alpine Wall, Waal trails (historic hiking paths), day trips to Bolzano, Landeck or via the Rhaetian Railway (UNESCO).

Facilities & Services

• Are there parking spaces for cars?

  Yes, free outdoor parking is available near the property. Garage with 12 spaces, €5 per day, max height 2.10 m.

• Are there parking spaces for motorcycles?

  Yes, safe parking is available in front of the building and in the garage. Trailers also have enough space.

• Is there an electric car charging station?

  Yes, an electric car charging station is available in our garage.

• Is there a bicycle room?

  Yes, secure room with e-bike charging, video surveillance, and electronic access control – perfect for high-quality bikes.

• Is there a drying room?

  Yes, a drying room with shoe dryer is available – perfect after bike or motorcycle tours.

• Is Wi-Fi available?

  Yes, free Wi-Fi throughout the pension.

• Is there an elevator?

  Yes, available in the Residence; not in the main building with rooms.

• Is there a wellness area or swimming pool?

  No wellness area on-site. Guests get free access to Prad outdoor pool (approx. 500 m) and discounted entry to Sportwell in Mals.

Meals

• Is breakfast available and what are the hours?

  Yes, from 07:30 to 10:00. Early breakfast from 07:00 on request. Lunch boxes available for excursions.

• Is half-board offered?

  No half-board. Many restaurants are within walking distance.

Arrival & Rules

• Check-in and check-out times?

  Check-in: 14:00–20:00 (earlier on request). Check-out: until 09:00 (apartments) / 10:00 (rooms).

• Are pets allowed?

  Yes, dogs allowed on request in selected rooms.
